Poker Aces refers to two aces being dealt pre-flop. It’s the best attainable before theflop hand intexas hold’em Poker. But despite this many players find themselves on the wrong end when given this hand.

When you are dealt a pair of Aces, you just don’t drop out before theflop. You’re sitting with the best achievable hand at this part of the round. So how do you wager with Poker Aces ? Do you basically go all-in? I’d say definitely no to that.

Always remember, you are attempting to acquire as much money from this strong position. You will want to maximize the opportunity. Going all-in will merely drive most players into folding and not laying a wager.

If you’re in the early spot (first or 2nd to actually bet), you will place a single bet. Anyone with decent cards will call, hopefully somebody might raise. If there has been a raise do not jump to re-raise or call, wait for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.

After the flop your plan will be to eliminate any player that could be able to build a straight or a flush. So I would start to raise boldly, if you’re lucky you’ll trick one player into thinking that you are tricking.

If you’re in the center or later position (near the last to wager) you’ll watch as everyone calls and then raise. Even with you holding a pair of aces, if possible try to avoid a show-down. Protect your hand by forcing the other players drop out after the flop. If you do not drive out your opponents you risk squandering your hand.
